Mind control and psychological experiments have been conducted by the CIA, research institutes, universities, and private and governmental agencies for decades. What shocking information did they uncover about the power of the mind?
Psychological experiments have been critical in shaping the fields of psychology and human behavior. Some have had a massive impact in society, and others have been carried out quietly on the masses. The Stanley Milgram Experiment showed how an obedience to authority can override people’s good judgment even when others are being hurt as a direct result of their conformity. The Asch Conformity Study showed how people can be influenced by others to agree to an incorrect answer even when they know they’re correct. “Group think” may be literal! Of course, the CIA also performed their own studies with their infamous, controversial mind control experiments like MK Ultra. But most people don't know that they secretly conducted other experiments that were never exposed, as well.
What’s the point of these mind and behavior experiments, and is there anything we can learn from them in today’s world? Tune into this Edge of Wonder Live show as Ben Chasteen dives deeper into what these studies mean, shows some past experiments, and discusses how they shaped our understanding of the human psyche. At the end of the show, don’t miss the live Q&A followed by a mediation/prayer only on Rise.TV. See you out on the edge!
