Suitcase - Part 1 - 2024-05-12

Matthew 11:28-30 | AMPC (28) Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] (29)  Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer 6:16] (30) For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. 

If you could really see into the souls of people, you would see that type of baggage being carried around even by people that don’t realize they are carrying any baggage. Based on what Jesus said in the above verses, it clearly is not His will that we carry a bunch of baggage around in life. He wants to set us free from the baggage and give us rest and refreshing for our souls.

In this series, we are talking about the process of getting rid of this baggage so that you can be free, and not harm your relationships.
