In the wake of a thrilling game that led to a narrow 4-3 defeat, the Keota Eagles JV squad reflects on their promising performance. The game started with Ashton Galindo and Chase Hafley taking the lead, followed by an impressive outing by Brody Greiner.
In the first inning itself, Chase Hafley recorded the first out, whilst Brody Greiner managed to reach the base despite an error. Though the Eagles found themselves in a bit of a downward spiral, Ashton Galindo managed to score a run, falling just short of claiming victory. Regardless, it marked a good start to the season for the Keota Eagles JV squad.
Brody Greiner acted as the starting pitcher and stayed at the bump for two innings, before Brendan McGuire took over for the last two. Brody conceded three runs and Brendan allowed one, but the game saw commendable pitching from all players involved. An optimistic start, providing much to look forward to during this season of play.
As the team continues to work on their game, refining strategies, and improving their skills, both fans and the crew are eager to see what the varsity squad has in store. The first JV game of the year may not have ended with a win, but the team's performance offers much optimism and promise for the season going forward.
