1950's and 60's Netherlands native Joost Carlier set out with one goal in mind: change the way people gather to enjoy music. As the music festival scene spread he continued to adapt and invent new ways to make his venues successful. One of these inventions took the world (or at least parts of it) by storm in an attempt to clean up what had become an otherwise pee soaked scene.
