1) We delve back into the Book of Romans at Chapter 4, Verse 13. Over the next several chapters, there will be moments of sorrow and joy, but ultimately, joy will prevail. From a theological perspective, it's impossible to overlook what the Apostle is writing. He asserts that God's promises to Abraham are not contingent on obedience to the law. It's as clear as it can be: it's not about obedience. So, what is it about?
2) Verse 13 clarifies that the reception of God's promises hinges on our faith-based relationship with God. Firstly, understanding this relationship is crucial. Secondly, faith is a key element in this relationship. If you contest the Apostle's theological approach, you're essentially rendering faith useless. You're devaluing the medium that God has chosen. If you belittle faith, you belittle God's promises.
3) Cordelia and Joyanne serenade the audience with a song that contains all of the Old Testament books. Wowzers.
