We are starting a new series this week called “The Blessed Life” where we explore the profound blessings and joy that we get to experience in living lives built around serving God. This week, we are talking about money. 16 out of the 29 parables Jesus told refer to money. Money can fill your life, but it’s never meant to fulfill your life. Jesus talks so much about money not because He’s after it, but because He cares deeply about your heart. Our motivation to give should be rooted in our love and trust in God, not in seeking blessings, as we learn from both the Old and New Testaments.
