Isaac and Felicity Azura discussed the impact of the annexation of Guam by the U.S. on the indigenous Chamorro people, including the ongoing disenfranchisement, environmental issues, and cultural challenges faced by the community. They also addressed the high cost of living, limited job opportunities, and lack of representation in academic and political spheres for Pacific Islanders in the U.S. Lastly, they touched upon the concept of the land back movement, the importance of learning the Chamorro language and culture, and the need for international solidarity in the face of ongoing colonization.
