Originally a self taught mechanic, Taylor Bruno's journey into the world of fabrication started out as a simple desire to weld roll cages for off road vehicles. She quickly realized as a female in this male dominated industry, she would have to work harder to earn the respect of her peers. Her desire led her to a broad breadth of skills including welding, off road suspensions, paint and body, fabrication, industrial fabrication and more! Taylor has an ALL IN mentality when it comes to her career and her personal life taking on ambitious projects for her company while also being a mom. Taylor is proud to continue to champion for females in the trades, even offering a stranger with a desire to weld an opportunity to come learn on her own equipment! Listen in while we dive deep into her experiences of inequity and how she used it as fuel for her career and changing her life after reading a bumper sticker. She shares words of wisdom for the next generation, talks about problem solving in her sleep, and her fascination with “The Nothing Box.”
