I launched this review of The First Catechism (a children's catechism) to help parents educate their children concerning the basic principles of Christianity. The First Catechism is a great tool because it's a simple question-and-answer education tool that addresses key Christian doctrines. In this review of the First Catechism, I dig deeper into many of the questions to help parents better understand the doctrines of the Christian faith. This in turn will better prepare them to teach these doctrines to their children. In this episode, I discuss salvation, faith and repentance, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the three offices of Christ.
