40. Patience, energy & hope

This episode was recorded in early September 2023, when we talked about the survivalist priority rooted in hope and proliferates to greater and greater necessities for life to thrive in the field that surrounds us and that which we are intimately woven into. We talked about Alfred North Whitehead's Process Philosophy (the philosophy of an organism), coherence vs. incoherence, and the fact that nature is a process seeking equilibrium as the future pole draws us in. This begs the question: why do hope and patience matter? How can we come to terms with the fact that we are alone in this world?
