God wants us to be rivers, not reservoirs.
Reservoir keeps water, but river gives out water
Water in a reservoir is stagnant, but river flows
Reservoir gets contaminated easily, but river is not----more----Reservoir is limited to its max. capacity, but river is limitless
Reservoir doubt it's source, but river trusts it's source for further flow
Reservoir has no ability to flow by itself, but no one can stop river's flow
- River is not a source, river is a channel or a conduit for water to flow through.
- Our lives are channels and conduits for God's blessings to flow through and reach others.
- The more a river gives, the more water flows through it, replenishing itself from its source.
- Giving is growing because it not only replenishes wealth but also fosters the growth of others.
- We give from our scarcity, insufficiency or shortness, but when the Lord gives it back, it will be in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
Our giving not only produces growth, it also transforms lives around us.
