It’s no secret that we have an election coming up, and many of us are scared of what might happen. We fear the candidates we’ll have to choose from, we fear who will win, we fear the policies that will change our country and are afraid for the future. On November 5, statistically speaking, 50% of us will feel like we lost and our fears will come true.
In the biblical book of Daniel, Daniel goes through several hostile political take overs where his political party loses every time. Scripture is no stranger to criticizing it’s heros, and yet Daniel is one of the few people the Bible never says anything negative about. Somehow Daniel figured out how to lose like a champion. As we head into a highly politicized season, what can we learn from this man of God on how to navigate divisiveness, injustice, hostility and disappointment? Join us to find out as we learn to “lose like a champion”.
