Dirty Feet

The hypocrisy of some in the profession Church of Jesus Christ is sad to see. In pompous arrogance people who have been living on the fringes, who bear the marks of a fallen world and the streets, and they reek of the sin they've been involved in are not welcomed in the church house! Most of the leadership in Pastor Chuck Smith's church were incensed over him allowing "those dirty hippies with dirty feet to come in and stain up their new carpet in the sanctuary." They weren't interested in what God was doing by calling these marginalised outcasts from polite society. Jesus came to call sinners and when they come they may still be in their sin! That's why He called. He wants to take their sin upon Himself and set them free by rebirth and becoming a brand new creation in Jesus Christ! What's our problem, church?
