This special edition of the Film Connection honors Bill Ames an original founder of the Hockomock Film Festival. This year marks the 21st Hockomock Film Festival. A competition based film festival, the Hockomock Film Festival encourages students to be creative, have fun and work collaboratively while creating unique films. The Hockomock Film Festival was originally founded in 2002 as the Easton Film Festival. The founders recognized that there was a broader opportunity and reconstituted it to include 14 neighboring towns of the Hockomock League. These towns are: Attleboro, Canton, Easton, Foxborough, Franklin, Mansfield, Milford, Norfolk, No. Attleborough, Plainville, Sharon, Stoughton, Taunton, and Wrentham. Festival categories include: Shorts, Documentary, and PSA.
