She moved to Nundle, near Tamworth, in the Peel Valley of northern inland NSW 16 years ago. Now she is fighting for her community to get a fair hearing in a development where the rules appear to keep changing.
GUEST 2 OVERVIEW : Nathaniel Smith started a plumbing apprenticeship in 1997 and ran a business as a licensed plumber for several years. He took up an opportunity in 2010 to work in a PR & Marketing and Government Relations firm, where he acquired a Master of Arts in Organisational Communications at Charles Sturt University (CSU). Also during that time, Nathaniel was elected as a Councillor to Kogarah City Council from 2012-16. In 2016, Nathaniel then worked for a Federal Senator/Minister. Following that, he was appointed a Senior Advisor to the NSW State Planning Minister before being elected as the State Member for Wollondilly in 2019. During that time, Nathaniel served on several Parliamentary committees and was promoted to Government Whip in the Perrottet Government. Nathaniel has worked and served at the Federal, State and Local Government levels. He is now the CEO of the Master Plumbers Association of NSW since May 2023.
