Welcome back, friend! I am so glad you are joining me for today’s conversation with speaker and author Toni Collier. We dive right into our discussion of hurt, hope, and healing.
Be sure to listen in as we discuss trauma, abuse, childhood wounds, and toxic relationships that have broken us and how there is no shame in brokenness. It’s in our brokenness that the healing power of Jesus comes to find us. This is such a powerful episode, friend.
Toni Collier is the founder of an international women’s organization, Broken Crayons Still Color, which helps women process brokenness and find hope. She is a Speaker, Host, Author of Brave Enough to be Broken, and consultant that has helped organizations with creative marketing, leadership, student ministry, and strategic planning. Toni is teaching people all over the globe that you can be broken and worthy and unqualified and still called to do great things. She doesn’t want you to just face your demons; she wants you to quash the illusion of your brokenness so you can live the most colorful life possible, on and off stage. Toni is the wife of Sam and a mom of two living in Atlanta.

Favorite quotes:
~ Hurt and hope can co-exist. That we can be going through things and we can be doing our best to survive those things but we can also have the capacity to put up a front.
~ Jesus had circles too and when we get intentional about how we structure friendship circles we can ultimately live healthier lives.
~ We have to become aware of what we need. Some of the reason why we get into toxic environments is because there is a toxic part of us that craves it and it becomes a magnet.
~ We should be curious, not condemning. We are not good about being curious about helping people.
