Martina Fenech winning the FANvision Song Contest 2024 for Malta
Eurovision Weekend 2024 - We have a Winner: The Eurovision Weekend 2024 took place from 12 - 14 Jul 2024 in Hamburg with a great programme of the many national and international fans that arrived from all over Europe to take part in this event. Special guests were Luna (Poland 2024), Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2010 and 2024) and Jendrik (Germany 2021) who each gave a concert to the many fans. The Eurovision Weekend 20204 included the FANvision Song Contest 2024 with a record of 16 countries that took part in this singing competiion. The Winner of the FANvision Song Contest 2024 is once again Malta with Martina Fenech who performed Austria's winning song of 2014 by Conchita Wurst "Rise like a Phoenix". Congratulations Martina. Malta previously won this competition with Sebastian Calleja's cover of "Golden Boy" which was by Nadav Guedj representing Israel.
Salman and Frank, who are the Prime Organisers of the Eurovision Weekend will be joining JP once again in the studio for a look back as well as the Winning Act Martina Fenech for a look back over the weekend in Hamburg.

Luna at the Media Conference of the Eurovision Weekend 2024
Interview with Luna (Poland 2024): This week's interview with a Eurovision acts that as been on stage of the Eurovision Song Contest is LUNA who represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song "The Tower" and ended up at Number 12 in Semi Final 1.
Luna was one of the special guests invited to the Eurovision Weekend 2024 in Hamburg on 13 Jul 2024. Radio International's JP had the pleasure to meet Luna for an interview after the events Media Conference. You can hear this interview on the show this week.
Klara Hammarström at Media Conference at Melodifestivalen 2024
Interview with Klara Hammarström (Melodifestivalen 2021 and 2022): The Interview Team of Radio International had the pleasure to meet Klara Hammarström at the 2024 edition of Sweden's Melodifestivalen. Klara competed a few times in Sweden's Contest to select that song that represents Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was in 2021 when she made it to the Grand Final of Melodifestivalen with the song "The Beat of Broken Hearts" and in 2022 "Run to the Hills". Both songs ended up Number 6 in the Grand Final.
