Winederlust - Exploring Aussie Wine Regions
Society & Culture:Places & Travel
Episode 39 (Series 8, Episode 4)
The Geelong Wine Region has 3 distinct parts, and the Bellarine Peninsula is the largest with the most cellar doors. It is located about 1.5-2 hours south west of Melbourne by car.
The flagship wines are Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and medium bodied Shiraz.
A massive thank you to my guests who were so generous with their time and expertise:
- Julian Kenny, winemaker at Bellarine Estate; and
- Steven Paul, General Manager, Oakdene.
