I've been on this journey to create the best at-home vanilla latte for YEARS now. Every time I figured it out, I'd learn something about how an ingredient wouldn't work for my body so I'd have to start all over to switch it up. (I share a little bit about that) But recently, I've switched over to Matcha and that's a whole other beast in and of itself. I learned something fascinating as it pertains to taking coffee vs matcha during my cycle and how to optimize my body based on the drug intake (ie caffeine).
And PS. here's my Matcha recipe, as promised!
Whisk* together 2oz of 180* water + 1 teaspoon Cymbiotika Matcha (get $20 off!)
*make sure you do it with a bamboo whisk! Then add to your vibey mug (or glass if you want it cold)
Next:
Mix 6oz of Vanilla Almond Malk
1-2 teaspoons of Homemade Vanilla Syrup (how to make: 1 cup coconut palm sugar + 1 cup water, boil, add 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract)
Dash of lavender syrup, if you want
If you're making it hot: Microwave all of that for 30 seconds, froth (this one's the best), microwave for another 30 seconds
If it's cold, skip that
Add all together!! It's amazing and you feel amazing, too!
