Writing Exercise That Will Boost Confidence and Self-Esteem
You can change how you feel in your body by what you focus on. Have you ever had the experience of your day going from bad to worse? It’s because you focused on nothing but problems so all you’re going to notice is what’s going wrong ignoring all the good stuff in your life (and yes there is good stuff in your life).
What if you focused your attention on what is right about you. A great way to do this is to write down what you’re grateful for, what you like about yourself and what you do well. You are then focusing your mind to find more things to be thankful for (therefore increasing your gratitude). Be focusing on what you like about yourself you increase your self-esteem. And by focusing on what you do well you increase your self-confidence.
This writing exercise below takes only 2 minutes. Try it for a few weeks and watch your focus shift and notice how much better you feel in your body.
3 Things x 3
To practice and reinforce this new state of being, use this writing exercise every day. It will probably take just 3 or 4 minutes at the most. This will help set your reticular activating system to focus on more things to feel grateful about, as well as, keep increasing your confidence and self-esteem day by day.
** Each day find 3 different things for each subject (don’t repeat)
Power Questions:
Ask “How…” questions so you’re reticular activating system starts looking for the answer. Now the questions below are just examples. Use your own creativity, your own words and create the questions you need to manifest the life you want.
