Credited Righteousness I

Do you really want God to judge you on your works or your "inherent" righteousness?  I don't because I don't have any inherent righteousness. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him." - Rom 4:8 NIV

The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, - Rom 4:23 NIV

but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness--for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. - Rom 4:24 NIV

He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. - Rom 4:25 NIV
