I never used to worry about anything really.
Now I find that I worry a lot.
----more----
I suppose it comes of having people I truly care about, like my husband and my son.
Anyway, worrying isn’t something to worry about unless you are worrying excessively about things over which you have no control.
Like your spouse having an accident while they are on a road trip far from home.
And yes, that’s something I worry about.
Anyway, the way I stop myself from worrying about things I can’t control, may sound a little fatalistic, but it works for me.
I think to myself, what would I do if the worst happened and my husband died?
While I most definitely don’t want that to happen, it turns out that knowing I have a plan in place to handle the worst that could happen helps me to stop worrying about what I can’t control in the present.
And if it works for me, it may just work for you.
