Welcome to this week's episode! There is a surprisingly large percentage of individuals incarcerated, on parole or probation, or with discharged sentences that are Sex-Offenders. Recently we came across some amazing statistics in regard to sex-offenders and recidivism rates. The numbers are surprisingly low, contrary to popular belief. At Journey of Hope With Rodney Mathers, our mission is to help ex-offenders. It makes absolutely no difference here what someone's crime was. We judge no-one. Hopefully these numbers on recidivism will be more widely reported and heard by employers and the general public. This is an important episode and we hope the information contained within helps to give sex-offenders, their families, and their friends some comfort as they they take the steps necessary to never create another victim.
