• You have an amazing life-story. You were born in Pakistan but adopted by a Dutch family.  While international adoptions are almost routine now, in the 1960’s this was very unusual.  What was it like being multi-cultural before that was even really a term?
• You have recently written a book that offers your insight into a wide variety of cultural issues titled With All My Might.  What is that Gabriella van Rij does with all her might?
• Many times we find that as we attempt to be ourselves it brings condemnation.  Again quoting Emerson, he said “for nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure.”  You talk at length about bullying in your book.  We often associate bullying with kids but you talk about how it continues in various forms throughout life.  What are some other examples of bullying?  What other masks does it wear?
• How do we, as a society, take steps to eradicate such things?
• Besides merely writing about topics such as bullying, what are you and your team undertaking?

Gabriella van Rij, author of With All My Might, is a woman with one foot in the culture of the East and one in the West.  Born in Pakistan and adopted into a Dutch family Gabriella knows what it is like to be an outcast and to question her own identity.  She is also a woman of singular purpose and passion.  She is fueled by a desire to educate and to eradicate hatred, intolerance, racism, and prejudice.  Gabriella dares to live, to love, to give and to be passionate with every aspect of her life and she encourages us to do the same.
