-Cleaning ladies and maids are notorious abusers of first world appliances like dishwashers, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners. It’s not that they set out to destroy them, its just that they probably never used one before and can’t read and/or understand them. Eventually they do get it, but only after you walk them through it step by step and have a bit of patience. Hint; its best to assume you are starting with a clean slate; that you maid doesn’t know a thing (no matter what she tells you!).
