We live in a society that has a love/hate relationship with time. We talk about time a lot, complain that we are too busy, brag about how much we have to do. We treat time like a commodity. Pastor Ross Erb gave examples of how we suffer from "hurry sickness", and how it negatively impacts our life. But God calls us to be stewards of time, and in that stewarding, to make space for worship. In Hebrews 10: 25, the writer of Hebrews encourages the readers to be diligent in meeting together to encourage one another. Our gathering as a congregation to worship is an act of stewardship, and we used this gift of time to praise our God.
