In this season of Epiphany we at Park View Mennonite Church will explore what it means to be the body of Christ, and what it meant that Jesus was the physical embodiment - the incarnation - of God. Pastor Phil Kniss said that the Incarnation was a one-time event, but incarnation with a small "i" is an on-going event. If we are to be the vehicle of God's revelation today, what does that mean for worship? We use our whole bodies to participate in worship. Romans 12:1-2 tells us to give our bodies to God in worship. This is a thanks-giving offering in response to God's gift of the Incarnation. So we should engage our head, body, heart, and relationships in our worship. Can we embrace a "full-bodied" worship of God?
