Our main barrier to effective problem solving is that we rarely take the time to properly define our end goals.
Not to be obvious but: HOW can we reach our goals if we don’t even know what they are?

We Humanists are critical thinkers, so first we have to ask ourselves some serious questions.
WHAT is it we want to accomplish by solving this particular problem?
And more importantly, WHY?
The power of asking WHY is that it helps you define the real problem you are trying to solve.
Instead of wasting your time on extraneous issues.
That’s clarity.
