Dr. Natalie Azar graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Dr. Azar continued on to receive her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, where she received honors for Academic Excellence in Anesthesiology. Dr. Azar completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. She continued on to complete a fellowship in Rheumatology at NYU Langone’s Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Azar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and has a subspecialty in Rheumatology.

Dr. Azar is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology. She has clinical expertise in back pain, rheumatoid arthritis, connective tissue disease, osteoarthritis, arthritis, osteoporosis/metabolic bone disease, spondylarthropies, lupus, scleroderma, and autoimmune diseases.
