Graduation season is upon us, and whenever we attend or think about any kind of graduation, we are reminded about our great hopes for the future. In the Old Testament there was a man named Samson. His father, Manoah, had great dreams for his son because God himself sent an angel to tell of the great things this boy would grow to accomplish for the kingdom of Israel. The problem is that Samson’s life was plagued by mistakes, failures, and sins.
Often, even though we are here today, thousands of years later, we have the same story as Samson. The great news, is that, just like Samson, even with a past filled with failure, God still used his future for incredible good. Join us this week as Pastor Fetter dives into Judges 16 and examines the life of Samson so that we might learn from his failures, and also follow in his footsteps of repentance, so that we might experience God use us in powerful and effective ways.
