Ruth Copland talks to British Medical Herbalist and health expert, Paula Grainger.
Paula is now based in Santa Cruz having moved here with her husband, best-selling novelist Michael Marshall, and their son. Paula is a member of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), one of the most venerable associations for professional herbalists in the world. Paula’s passion for herbs includes a love of nature and the outdoors. She ran regular herb walks in London, helping people discover the astonishing variety of wild medicinal plants growing in our streets and parks, and now runs herb walks here in Santa Cruz. We talk about how you can learn to recognise and use the plants available in this area to improve your health and well-being. Find out more about Paula's herb walks and consultations at
