A weekend highlighting Global Outreach through KCC featuring:
Phil Smart, Pastor of Global Outreach
Here at KCC we work with over 18 international partners to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout the world. We believe that our mission extends beyond the borders of our church and city. Not only do we want to see people respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ because of these strategic partnerships, but we also want to be ready to aid those that are hurting through poverty and disasters by providing relief, prayer and helping hands.
Mike & Shareen Bradley, Zambia Missionaries
Mike and Shareen are KCCers who have spent the last eight months serving in Zambia. They are providing invaluable support, helping to organize and make the Jembo trust self-sufficient and prospering. The trust comprises a well, banana plantation and garden which allow those who have been crippled by the HIV/AIDS epidemic to have an income and a future. They also teach at the Pilgrim Wesleyan Bible College as well as help with administration in the interim, as the college is preparing for full African teachers.
Nickson Kabura, former Burundi Refugee
Nickson, a husband and father of three boys, recently arrived in Michigan. He grew up in a Mozambique refugee camp and is securing his US documentation. He has proved to be a man of courage and values, assisting others as they arrive in the US and helping with the established African Community Church through preaching and spiritual support.
