Steve Cooper talks with actor/writer Stephen Tobolowsky. Stephen worked primarily in theater during his early career and wrote and directed a few plays including Two Idiots in Hollywood and True Stories. His film career took off in the 1980's thanks to roles in The Philadelphia Experiment, Nobody's Fool, Spaceballs and Mississippi Burning. Since then he has appeared in many popular movies including Bird on a Wire, Basic Instinct, Groundhog Day, Murder in the First, Mr. Magoo, The Insider, Memento, Freaky Friday, Garfield and Wild Hogs. He has also done a substantial amount of voice work, most recently taking on the role of Uncle Ubb in The Lorax. He has been even more prolific in television over the past few decades. He's appeared on a diverse range of shows including Seinfeld, Mad About You, Chicago Hope, The Practice and Curb Your Enthusiasm and has had recurring roles in CSI: Miami, Deadwood, Heroes, Glee and Californication.
