Jacob's Well & the World Vision Mess

Jacob's Well has partnered with World Vision the last few years in addressing poverty around the world. Recently World Vision hit the news because they tried to change a hiring policy that discriminates against people in same sex relationships, but were forced to not change it. A discriminatory practice like that is a problem for us, but we value the great work World Vision is doing in 97 countries around the world. We also don't want to play the game some churches have been playing of pulling support dollars out over a disagreement like this because it makes poor people around the world pay for it.
