The role of Executor is to act on behalf of the deceased. The Executor is expected to fulfill a few obligations:
· Pay outstanding debts including bills, credit cards and taxes
· Distribute remaining money per the wishes of the deceased
· Written wishes of the deceased are expected to be executed
