Episode # 969 - Effect And Aftermath Of Suicide

TGIAF today everyone and Father Anthony is back, as well as pointing out the Air Show is going on today and proof of that is and was in the sky with the famous Blue Angel Fighter Jets flying around, as everyone is heard and saw them, you loyal listeners also may hear them on the show.  Also, kids are getting ready to go back to school soon, with Chirstina saying parents are ready as well as here the St Stans school is getting ready, but sad that summer is almost gone and the school year or year begins again, not counting when the New Year arrives.  To start the show, everyone once again reflects from yesterdays show with Robin Williams tragic suicide and suicide in general and dealing with depression, not only in tough times, but for those who deal with people they know that have committed suicide, the aftermath, with Father Anthony addressing many things that might've been missed on yesterdays show.  After the first break, Father Anthony goes even further in talking about this serious topic, not only with the aftermath, but what the Church tells/teaches on this, including bringing other famous figures including Princess Diana, Mother Theresa, and Christopher Reeve being influential figures.  He also shares how it seems that suicide in the United States has risen very high, with everyone reminding us to "keep the faith" in order to help and be supportive and try to stop people from committing this action in order to survive.  On a different, perhaps lighter subject, Father Anthony talks about Pope Francis visiting South Korea this week and what he has been doing there, as well as some interesting things in terms of professions being major or popular there.
