Robin McLean is an agriculture teacher at Northern Burlington County Regional Middle School in New Jersey. She encourages her 7th- and 8th-grade students to share experiences from their diverse backgrounds, which helps everyone learn about agriculture and the industry of agriculture from different perspectives. Matt Eddy teaches agriculture at Southeast Polk High School in Iowa, where his FFA chapter has 200-plus members from all backgrounds. Now in his 16th year as a teacher, Matt recommends agricultural education as a great career option, especially with the current need for ag teachers.
