Did I ever tell you guys that I meet the coolest people in Funkytown? This weeks guest is Caleb Stanislaw. He is a little nervous about this so make sure you give him lots of love. He starts off the show with Halfway Drunk Again. I really like the way this guy writes and sings! We talk family, music and The Hendersons. The middle track is Soul Searching. Caleb talks about the evolution of that song. We get into the philosophy of song writing. Caleb has a new project he is working on called Holy Shit! The Pyramids so we talk about pyramids and other mind bending things. Caleb plays bass for Luke McGlathery, plays guitar with Vincent Neil Emerson (Caleb is one of the old souls), also he is starting to play with Foxtrot Uniform. This dude can flat play the guitar and he shows it on the last song Snake and the Hound. This is a community intensive interview. We spend lots of time giving Fort Worth love, talking about our friends, talking about the forever Jamboree at The Grotto and we even spend a moment on hometown hero Luke Wade and the meaning of success. I really appreciate you guys listening and if you are tuning in to hear about the party at Shipping and Receiving Saturday night then check your feed in a couple of days. I am gonna do a separate show about the Night in the Clouds JJTM Party. As always rate and review on Itunes and Stitcher and if you have and thoughts or questions funkytownpodcast@gmail.com
