Ann Hagedorn is an award winning independent author and journalist of the book “The Invisible Soldiers: How America Outsourced Our Security,” which Ralph Nader has included on his annual recommended reading list. The book takes a hard look at the consequences and dangers of the mercenary-like transformation of our military, police, and national security agencies. She is a former staff writer for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Daily News and the San Jose Mercury. Ann has also taught journalism at Northwestern University, Columbia, and Xavier and Miami Universities.
