Meet Edward Brown. Ed is a contributing writer for the Fort Worth Weekly and wanted to come on the show periodically and discuss an article he has written for the Weekly. I couldn't be happier to accommodate. On the first installment we use the first half of the show to discuss the Fort Worth Weekly. The FW Weekly has evolved into an award winning publication and we talk about Ed and his role there. The second half we get into the article Ed wrote for the Weekly called Scared O'Cats about Trap, Neuter and Release and how the city of Bedford is taking no input from the community and is not only not adopting TNR, but being downright hostile to anyone who may try to get the city to reconsider. I think this is important because many cities and neighborhoods have feral cat issues. Its important how we treat such a matter. Its also extremely important that the city and elected officials listen to and represent the heart, mind, and soul of the community. It would mean a lot to me and everyone involved if you would share the article, get active, and support groups like Panther City Feral Cat Coalition, Mid City Mid-Cities Community Cats and TCAP Texas Coalition for Animal Protection. We close the show with a track from Jetta in the Ghost Tree called Silhouette. Here is a link to the article
