Andrew Goffman :
Goffman began his theatrical training in the Off-Broadway show Grandma Sylvia's Funeral, which he believes prepared him for the challenges he would face later on in stand-up comedy. In a March 2000 interview with TheaterMania.com, Goffman said, "Getting up on stage in front of a packed house of 200 people was valuable for me; it gave me confidence on stage that I wouldn't get by going up in front of ten people at an open mike night."
In 1997, following a year-long stint with Grandma Sylvia's Funeral, he
began concentrating primarily on stand-up comedy, appearing at such venues as Caroline's, Catch A Rising Star, The Comic Strip, Rascals and at Canada's Yuk Yuks. As an actor, Goffman has appeared in such films as "The First Wives Club", and "The Stand-In" with Kelly Ripa.
Adele Park :
Author, Producer,The fact that my list of credits includes winning an Audie Award from the Audio Publishers Association and landing on Jimmy Fallon's Do Not Read List for the same project is indicative of my work. My last production, WHEN RADIO AND POLYGAMY COLLIDE ... Jitters - A
Quirky Little Audio Book was awarded a 2011 Audie in the multi-voiced
category. Less than a year later, Late Night funnyman Jimmy Fallon honored Jitters with a coveted spot on his Do Not Read List. Perhaps life
imitates art as these types of random events are a common occurrence throughout the Quirky Audio Books series.
I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Mesa College, I spent the next twenty years paying off my student loans by working as a television and radio reporter, news anchor and on-air personality. It was definitely worth it.
In 2008, I formed Straight to Audio Productions, LLC and opened a recording studio in St. George, Utah. When I'm not working, I'm out in the desert on my ATV thinking about all the quirky things that happen in a place called Navel, Utah.
