Eric Meyer is an author, speaker, blogger, sometime teacher, and co-founder of An Event Apart, the design conference for people who make web sites. He’s been working on the Web since 1993 and still finds it utterly compelling. His experiences within the medical industry as a patient advocate for his daughter created a driving passion to improve medical design. His panel discussion at HxRefactored will draw on his personal history as a father as well as his long career on the web to show how medical design gets it wrong, and illuminate a path to getting it right.
Eric lives with his family in Cleveland, Ohio, which is a much nicer city than you’ve been led to believe. He enjoys a good meal whenever he can and considers almost every form of music to be worthwhile.
