Deep Topics
This week will mark the fifth and final sermon in our series on “Deep Topics.” In
this series we have looked together at how the Word of God informs the way we
respond to the many different concerns that keep us up at night. This week will
be no different as we explore together how we can respond to our concern for
the salvation of those we care about.
I can’t speak for each of you, but this remains a concern that has been on my
mind ever since I first surrendered my life to the Lord fifteen years ago. How
can eternity not include some of the people I love most in this world?
To start things off we will look together at what Jesus teaches us in regard to
how we respond to worry in Matthew 6. We will then move to the book of Jonah as
we celebrate together a few examples of what God provides to draw us near to
him. And the concluding thought will lead us to the hope found in Ephesians
3:20 as we look to a God who can do “immeasurably more than we could ever ask
or imagine.”
Come join us for a great weekend together. I pray that you leave with eyes open
and full of hope as we reach out together to impact this community we love so
much.
God Bless,
Nathan
