Steve Cooper talks with actor Randy Ryan. Randy worked in NYC theatre for 10 years before moving to Los Angeles. His first TV role was in the final episode of Sex & the City on HBO. He also played Julius Rice in Public Enemies and wrote Joy Division, a short film that debuted nationally at the Nantucket Film Festival and has appeared in dozens of hit TV shows. A US Army XVIII Airborne Corps veteran, he has been a spokesperson for the Farmer Veteran Coalition, which helps combat veterans reintegrate back into society through farming. In 2011 he joined Kelly Meyer, The American Heart Association and The California Endowment to lead Teaching Gardens to national prominence. The program fights childhood obesity by teaching children how to successfully grow, harvest and replant organic vegetable gardens in urban communities. There are over 400 Teaching Gardens in the United States.
