I can only imagine what Joe Tacke thought when he saw Zach and I pull up behind Richard Phillip, from (singer) Henry the Archer, with his girl pulling up behind Dustin Schneider from The Jerry Jonestown Massacre and then learning one more Kevin Geist,(drummer) HTA, was on his way. Yes, One Horn Studios was full that night and the show was well a little off the map. The show kicks off with a brand new track, not yet released, called New Mexico. We start to talk about the new track and quickly somehow end up talking about Nickelodeon and Disney actresses. It's really hard for me to remember what we talked about after that. I remember vape talk being in there as well as their show at Shipping & Receivingand I remember giving a shout out to Susie Ramone and her fantastic homemade ketchup. The middle track is Nightmare. Its off of their album When Something Means Nothing and I've heard it a ton but this is a live acoustic version and it takes on a new life. We do Zach Libs and I introduce a new segment Flash Taco / Taco Talk. I remember Lyndsay Cole getting some love and same with Tony Diaz. I know when I listen to this tomorrow I am going to wish I had mentioned that we talked about this or that. Its late and I honestly only remember laughing a lot, trying but failing to keep the HTA boys from swearing, and the great bass controversy of 2015. The last song is an old song that is going to be on the new album called Across the Room. I know you will enjoy this one. It was funny, thoughtful, a little rowdy and just a really good good fun time. You can get Henry the Archer on itunes or amazon. Also side note before this recording Dustin and Richard were at Robotuner's Insignificant Podcast and it may be fun to hear that episode before you hear this one.
