This episodes guest is Sport Scientist and Strength and Conditioning Coach Matt Jordan.
Matt has a degree in Kinesiology and a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary.
Matt has been the personal Strength Coach to more than 20 World and Olympic medalists, and has worked with elite athletes in many sports including: speed skating, cross country skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, hockey, football, volleyball, and mixed martial arts.
Matt is now a Strength Coach, the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Canadian Sports Institute-Calgary, and the Director of Sport Science and Sports Medicine for Alpine Canada.
Matt is currently completing his Doctorate in Medical Science at the University of Calgary focusing on ACL injury/re-injury prevention in elite alpine ski racers.
