Gospel passages like '"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life,"' are rightly considered a major part of the Gospel message. Passages like this are positive and upbeat, speaking about God's love for the world. But, what about passages like Luke 13:24 where Jesus says, '"Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many I say to you will seek to enter and will not be able"'?
In this episode of Power for Living, we find out that these passages, far from being negative scare tactics, are part of the Lord's message of love for people.
