Kelley Connors is President of KC Healthcare Communications LLC. She is an innovative healthcare PR/marketing strategist, writer and community builder with 25 years experience in health care marketing. Her signature strength helps marketers facilitate consumer conversations that inspire action for better self-care. As a health advocate and brand marketer, she supports women in becoming their own best health and wellness advocate through her strategic approach called the 4C’s: Content, Community, Conversation and Coaching. The approach aligns with her expertise in health (care) and wellness issues, social media, marketing health to women and on-line women's health community-building. As the voice of women in mid-life, Kelley gained the support of women’s health advocates including HealthyWomen (voted #1 by Dr. Mehmet Oz as his favorite women’s health site) and the Women’s Sexual Health Foundation to launch her own on-line community and radio show called RealWomen on Health!, now with over 200,000 podcast listens. Her thought leadership has been featured in DTC Perspectives (pharmaceutical industry), and The Ireland Report (hospital industry). She has held webcasts or live events with the AARP Massachusetts office, the Advertising Research Foundation, Marketing to the New Healthcare Consumer Conference, and was the emcee at the 2013 Marketing Health and Wellness to Women Conference in Chicago. Kelley has worked with a wide variety of health care companies, non-profit organizations and communications agencies including: Butterfly Health, AARP, Eli Lilly, Bausch & Lomb, Pfizer, the Ms. Foundation for Women, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center/Pfizer.
For starting her own online radio show called Real Women on Health, Kelley was one of 20 Connecticut-based professional women nominated for the Women in Innovation Award from the Connecticut Technology Council in January 2010. She received a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health with a Certificate in Public Communication from BU’s School of Public Communication. She is on the Board of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Boston Chapter.
