"I want you to do me a favor: I want you to tell all your friends about me." This week is a very special podcast for both myself and Justin as we finally sat down and recorded our feature-length commentary for Tim Burton's iconic Batman. This is a commentary we've wanted to do for years, but we could just never get the stars to align. Hear the first part today and look forward to the next part in an upcoming show. Once we've aired all four parts, you'll be able to listen to the entire live commentary when we drop that file all on its own!
As we continue to count down the days leading up to Batman v Superman, we turn our attention from the man of steel to the dark knight this week and focus on all things Batman! We're reviewing each of the four films made from 1989 - 1997, from Burton's 1989 masterpiece to the trainwreck that was Schumacher's Batman & Robin. Or is it? Take a listen to our thoughts on that famously bad film and see if you agree, and don't forget to stay 'till the end!
This week we're back with a new trailer for Epic Previews, and it is the trailer that is on everyone's mind at this point- Ghostbusters. We'll break down all the important points in the trailer and address the numerous controversies surrounding this film, as well as setting the record straight against a large number of fans who are determined not to give this flick a chance. Where do you land? Join the discussion over at http://www.facebook.com/epicfilmguys!
Next week, we will be joined by our brothers Wayne and Paul from Perth for our second crossover, and this one WILL be one for the ages- we're going to dissect the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, and as a special treat (for everyone except for Paul), we're going to be reviewing Bryan Singer's 2006 film Superman Returns. All of this leads up to our Man of Steel retrospective, which lands on the very day that we'll be seeing the sequel live.
