Susie Woodward grew up on her family’s dairy farm in upstate New York, and despite going to her first FFA meeting “kicking and screaming,” she became passionate about FFA and went on to serve as New York state FFA president. Susie says FFA gave her the confidence to try new things, such as moving west to attend Iowa State University and then moving farther west to work in California. Susie now lives in New Zealand, where she and her husband manage a sharemilking dairy operation.
